You summon a layer of floating clear glass to keep your target from harm. The target(s) gain a +2 bonus to AC. They can use the spell’s reaction to reduce damage from any spell or magical effect, reducing it by 1d4. When the Glass Shield is used in this way, the shield shatters and explodes in a shower of glass. If the creature that broke it is within 5 feet, the shards deal 1d4 piercing damage to that creature. The spell then ends and you can’t cast it again for 10 minutes.
Empower (2): Increase the AC bonus by 1, the hardness by 1d4 and the damage by 1d4.
At Higher Levels: This spell is automatically empowered by 1 level when you reach 5th level and once more at 9th level.
