You summon a layer of floating clear glass to keep you from harm, granting you a +2 bonus to AC. You can use the spell’s reaction to reduce damage from any spell or magical effect, reducing it by 1d4. When you use Glass Shield in this way, the shield shatters and explodes in a shower of glass. If the creature that broke it is within 5 feet, the shards deal 1d4 piercing damage to that creature. The spell then ends and you can’t cast it again for 10 minutes.

At Higher Levels: This spell’s damage and damage reducing effect increases by 1d4 when you reach 5th level (2d4), 11th level (3d4), and 17th level (4d4).
