  • Specializing in fighting styles and excelling in those specific styles of fighting. Should excel in being exceptionally strong or agile.

What does this class do better than any other?

  • Versatility. This class should be able to built a dozen ways while being unique in each playstyle. A fighter should be able to be built for any situation, allowing for a theoretical all fighter party. Jack of all trades masters of all.

  • Can fill any gaps in a party. Healer, rudimentary spellcaster, tank.

What should this class never be allowed to do?

  • Be the best option for a spellcaster or healer. A fighter CAN do these things, but he shouldn’t be the goto option.

  • Discipline
    • What kind of fighter are you. Your maneuvers are modified by the discipline you select. For example, an archer can gain special maneuvers to use with a bow, while a great weapon fighter would have different maneuvers.
  • Maneuvers
    • The ways a fighter can use weapons within their discipline. These manuevers require a certain prerec to met (such as, they are Bloodied or Off-Guard)
    • gets a maneuver back on crit

What does this resource encourage players to do?

  • Switch stances when optimal. Certain stance modes should be able to gain maneuvers back when they do something successfully.
