Fundamental: As a reaction, you may reduce the damage an ally takes by an amount determined by your training. You then reduce your Hit Points by the same amount. This damage cannot be ignored or reduced in any way. If you are Bloodied when you use this feature, the ally also gains temporary Hit Points equal to the damage you absorbed.

  • Trained: Reduce the damage by up to 1d6 + your Wisdom modifier.
  • Expert: Reduce the damage by up to 2d6 + your Wisdom modifier. If the absorbed damage would have inflicted a condition on the ally, you suffer that condition instead.
  • Master: Reduce the damage by up to 3d6 + your Wisdom modifier. If the absorbed damage reduces you to 0 Hit Points, you fall to 1 Hit Point instead. Once you use this feature, can’t do so again until you finish a Long Rest.
