Resonance

Once per scene, when you use this feat, choose a creature you can see, your performance lingers in their mind, inspiring others around them. The next time that creature uses the Inspired condition, after its effects are resolved they gain an effect determined by your training in this feat

  • Trained: They can inspire another creature they can see as an action.
  • Expert: As Trained. This source can be used twice per scene.
  • Master: As Expert. The creature also regains the Inspired condition after using it once. They then lose it as normal the second time it’s used.

Cadence

Once per scene, when you use this feat, choose a creature you can see, your rhythm and their actions synchronize in unison.

  • Trained: If the target of this feat does a similar action to you after your turn (such as attacking with a rapier after you attack with your short sword, or using a skill you just used) the target gains a +2 bonus to that d20 roll.
  • Expert: As Trained but they are also Favored on the roll. This source can be used twice per scene.
  • Master: As Expert. If the target uses all three of their actions to perform the same actions you did, all d20 rolls on their subsequent turn are Favored.

Harmony

Once per scene, when you use this feat, choose a creature you can seee, you inspire those nearest to them.

  • Trained: If the target is within 15 feet of another Inspired creature, they gain a +2 bonus to attack rolls until the end of their next turn.
  • Expert: The range increases to 30 feet and the bonus increases to +4. This source can be used twice per scene.
  • Master: As Expert. Both the target and the nearby Inspired creature gain the bonus.

Ballad

Once per scene, when you use this feat, choose a creature you can see, you weave a protective melody around them.

  • Trained: The target gains Temporary Hit Points equal to your Charisma modifier.
  • Expert: As Trained but the Temporary Hit Points equal your twice your Charisma modifier + half your Bard level. This source can be used twice per scene.
  • Master: As Expert. While the target has these Temporary Hit Points they gain a +4 bonus to attack rolls.

Level 6+ Sources

Refrain

Twice per scene, when you use this feat, choose a creature you can see, you repeat a motif that echoes a previous effect.

  • Expert: You apply the effects of a different source that has been applied within the last hour as it it was applied to this feat. The target gains all its usual effects.
  • Master: As Expert. The target can also use any 1 action feature as a free action.

Dissonance

Twice per scene, when this source affects an enemy, your performance disrupts their focus.

  • Expert: The target must make a Wisdom saving throw against your spell save DC or take a −2 penalty to all d20 rolls until the end of their next turn.
  • Master: As Expert. On a failed save the penalty increases to −4 and the target cannot use reactions until the end of their next turn.

Crescendo

Twice per scene, when you use this feat, choose a creature you can see, your performance builds to a powerful peak.

  • Expert: The next Arcane Art check you make this turn automatically succeeds without rolling.
  • Master: As Expert but the roll is automatically a critical success instead of a regular success.

Level 10

Encore

Twice per scene, when this source affects a creature, the crowd demands more.

  • Master: You may use your Performing Arts feature as a free action without expending one of its uses. The performance started this way lasts until the end of your next turn only.
